We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run RUNtrix, improve training, and support runners. We do not sell personal data, and we do not believe in monetizing runner data.
RUNtrix (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is built to help runners train with more clarity, support, and confidence. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how connected-service data such as Garmin Connect data is processed, and the choices you have.
We try to keep this simple: we collect what we need to run RUNtrix, support runners, and improve training plans. We do not sell personal data, and we do not believe in monetizing runner data.
Depending on what you log and what you choose to connect, we may collect information such as workouts completed, mileage, pace, effort, route-related data, training notes, and related performance metrics.
If you choose to connect a third-party platform, we may receive training or activity data from supported services such as Garmin Connect, COROS, and Apple Health. We only use that information to provide RUNtrix features and improve your training experience.
For details about how RUNtrix collects, uses, processes, stores, and handles Garmin Connect data, see the Garmin Connect data section below.
We use cookies and similar technologies primarily to keep you signed in, maintain secure sessions, remember basic preferences, and support core product functionality. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not use advertising trackers to build marketing profiles about runners.
RUNtrix allows users to connect their Garmin Connect account so authorized activity data can be imported into RUNtrix. Garmin Connect data is collected only after a user explicitly authorizes RUNtrix through the Garmin Connect authorization process.
Depending on the permissions authorized by the user and the Garmin Connect APIs used, RUNtrix may receive Garmin activity information such as activity type, activity date and time, duration, distance, pace, lap data, GPS route data, elevation, heart rate, cadence, and related activity details made available through Garmin Connect.
RUNtrix uses Garmin Connect data to help users import and log workouts, review training history, analyze running activity, support coaching-related feedback, and personalize the user’s training experience. Garmin Connect data may be used to generate workout summaries, detect workout types, estimate effort, and provide training-related insights inside RUNtrix.
Garmin Connect data is stored securely in RUNtrix databases and is associated with the user’s RUNtrix account. RUNtrix uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect Garmin Connect data.
RUNtrix does not sell Garmin Connect data. RUNtrix does not share Garmin Connect data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
RUNtrix may process Garmin-derived data using third-party infrastructure providers that support application hosting, database storage, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, payment processing, or artificial intelligence features used to generate training summaries or coaching insights. When third-party AI or data processing services are used, RUNtrix limits processing to the data needed to provide the requested RUNtrix feature.
Users may disconnect Garmin Connect from RUNtrix at any time. When Garmin notifies RUNtrix that a user has revoked access, changed permissions, or deregistered, RUNtrix disables further Garmin Connect data access for that user and processes the request through RUNtrix’s Garmin permissions or deregistration endpoints.
Any future changes to this Privacy Policy that relate to Garmin Connect data collection, use, processing, storage, sharing, third-party processing, or artificial intelligence processing will be submitted to the Garmin Connect Developer Program team and will require Garmin’s written approval before implementation.
Some RUNtrix features may use AI or algorithmic processing to help summarize, classify, or reflect on training information. These features may use training logs, connected-service activity data, and Garmin-derived data when a user has connected Garmin Connect and the feature is part of the user’s RUNtrix experience. RUNtrix limits AI processing to the data needed to provide the requested feature.
AI tools in RUNtrix are intended to support reflection and understanding. They do not replace coaching judgment, medical advice, or your own decision-making.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide RUNtrix, maintain accounts, support runners, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the product.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect runner information responsibly.
You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials private. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may also request that we deactivate your account.
You can manage connected-service permissions through the relevant platform and, where applicable, in your device or account settings. For Garmin Connect, users may disconnect Garmin Connect from RUNtrix or revoke RUNtrix access through Garmin Connect. RUNtrix will process Garmin permission changes and deregistration notifications when received.
You can opt out of marketing emails when those are sent. We may still send important service emails such as account, security, billing, or support-related messages.
RUNtrix is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RUNtrix, contact us and we will address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. If changes are material, we may also provide additional notice. Any future Privacy Policy changes related to Garmin Connect data collection, use, processing, storage, sharing, third-party processing, or artificial intelligence processing will be submitted to the Garmin Connect Developer Program team and will require Garmin’s written approval before implementation.
