Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run RUNtrix, improve training, and support runners. We do not sell personal data, and we do not believe in monetizing runner data.

Effective date: April 15, 2026

Overview

RUNtrix (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is built to help runners train with more clarity, support, and confidence. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We try to keep this simple: we collect what we need to run RUNtrix, support runners, and improve training plans. We do not sell personal data, and we do not believe in monetizing runner data.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account information such as your name, email address, password, and profile details you choose to add.
  • Training preferences such as race goals, schedule preferences, experience level, and plan-related inputs.
  • Messages you send to coaches or support.
  • Training logs, reflections, notes, and other content you choose to enter into RUNtrix.

Training and activity information

Depending on what you log and what you choose to connect, we may collect information such as workouts completed, mileage, pace, effort, route-related data, training notes, and related performance metrics.

Connected services

If you choose to connect a third-party platform, we may receive training or activity data from supported services such as Garmin, COROS, and Apple Health. We only use that information to provide RUNtrix features and improve your training experience.

Technical and device information

  • Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, app version, and crash or error logs.
  • Usage information needed to operate and improve RUNtrix, such as feature usage and account/session activity.

Cookies and session tools

We use cookies and similar technologies primarily to keep you signed in, maintain secure sessions, remember basic preferences, and support core product functionality. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not use advertising trackers to build marketing profiles about runners.

How we use information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To provide training plans, logging features, coach support, and related RUNtrix tools.
  • To personalize your experience, including plan-related adjustments and recommendations.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate important service-related updates.
  • To maintain security, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • To improve RUNtrix and make the product more useful for runners.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

AI features

Some RUNtrix features may use AI to help summarize or reflect on training information. We only use AI features if you explicitly opt in. If you do not opt in, your information is not used for those AI features.

AI tools in RUNtrix are intended to support reflection and understanding. They do not replace coaching judgment, medical advice, or your own decision-making.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use runner data for data brokerage or advertising resale.

We may share information only in limited situations:

  • Service providers who help us operate RUNtrix, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, or infrastructure support.
  • Legal or safety reasons if disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, RUNtrix, or others.
  • Business changes such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where information may transfer as part of the transaction.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide RUNtrix, maintain accounts, support runners, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the product.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect runner information responsibly.

You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials private. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.

Your choices and rights

Access, correction, and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may also request that we deactivate your account.

Connected services and permissions

You can manage connected-service permissions through the relevant platform and, where applicable, in your device or account settings.

Email preferences

You can opt out of marketing emails when those are sent. We may still send important service emails such as account, security, billing, or support-related messages.

Children

RUNtrix is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RUNtrix, contact us and we will address it.
